Hey guys hope. You all had a very productive week getting your headshots done or at least planning and scheduling as session with a photographer so. This week I'll be talking about building a resume cover letter and bio so. I brought some of just a copy of my own resume. That I use and I have two of them. Because before. I got an agent. I was helped represented and I was submitting myself for indie films and student productions as well so. This is how. It looks I got my name on the top my little hat shot over there in a box.
That put my contact info on the bottom just height/weight on some of my measurements then. I put my film experience and the first column. You just put project's name then. Whether it was a lien or supporting part or just an actor's rule and I'm the third column. You would put the production's name or directors need then. I have music videos I've done training for training in the first column. You would put like. Whether it was acting on camera or scene study class or voice training improv class stuff like. That and in the second column. You would put the studio. You did it in order to school yeah so for special skills put. It usual on bottom and that would be languages. That you speak or accent. That you can make or just. Something ridiculous.
That you can do such as driving what type of license. You have and swimming biking I do for instance like for me it's figure skating acrobatic stunts and rollerblading just. Something ridiculous like. That that you can do. That can be used in the film let's say clean volleyball or soccer and on the bottom. You put TV commercials. If you've done. Any and people actors are usually asked just to put available upon request and if you're auditioning for something they will ask. You for conflict. If there is any and the one right the other resume.
That I have is one from my agent and these templates use agents have their favourite syllables just sent. You one and you'll have to edit your resume to suit their their preference and for my is just. I have my it's pretty much the same thing just your name agency's logo height and weight you're the films. That you've done to eat music videos training special skills TV commercials again available upon request and you're on the bottom or wherever your agent wants. It to be just their contact info. I always want to keep. It one page. Because it's it's a digital copy. You don't want people to be scrolling down and get. It you just want. It to be one nice page so. They go boom boom boom just put the most important things there and that's it and you'll notice.
When you're just starting out. You won't probably have. That much experience or you'll have. None so just put your special skills and your training and that's about it and as. You gonna be doing many projects and just keep editing your resume and resume and yeah just go from there and later on is you gonna keep lending bigger projects small ones you'll just keep getting rid of them and because. You want your resume to be. One page only for cover letters.
That would be. Something usually to three sentences and you just hate hi thank you so much for reviewing my submission and maybe. You just want to put. One sentence why you think you'll be good for the role. That you'd like Todd to support a for bio. That would be also. You don't want to make a huge thing about it and just put two to three paragraphs just tell them a bit about yourself your experience your special skills and project. That you've done done. Any and training and what made. You become an actor so guys. This is it for today thank you so much for watching please don't forget to Like comment share and subscribe add. Me on your snapchat.
